A research team at Aalborg University in Copenhagen (AAU CPH) have identified a list of 111 light related competencies, across 8 different categories, required by the industry to future proof the education of tomorrow’s lighting designers and light related professions.
See the full list here.
The ongoing research, as part of Lighting Metropolis commitment to identify & close gaps between the education and the industry in how we develop and solve future lighting needs in our urban environments, are working closely with universities and institutes, municipalities and producers to raise the quality and relevance of all related professional lighting competencies.
In an upcoming focus group the cross-diciplinary participants will discuss how to best close the gaps – and help making Greater Copenhagen to a world-leading lighting cluster. The full report will be published later this year.
