Lighting Metropolis invites you to a webinar on street lighting strategies at scale and how they affect municipal planning.
One of the basic functions of lighting is to enable people to orientate themselves in their surroundings. Lighting allows us to move safely along roads and paths, even after dark. At the same time, road lighting is an energy-intensive element, but also one with still great potential for savings. We can implement energy efficient technologies, but we can also consume less light.
In this webinar, some of the major players in road lighting will talk about their strategies to reduce energy consumption. The strategies will be put into a municipal perspective when we finally hear about the experiences of sustainable lighting planning in cities in our neighbouring countries.
