Russian & American interest in Lighting Metropolis

Two of our partners, city of Malmö & Aalborg Unviersity, have been invited to share Lighitng Metropolis’ cutting edge approach for developing sustainable and liveable cities through innovative lighting solutions.

Russian symposium

Associate Professor Michael Mullins at Aalborg University in Copenhagen is among the invited speakers of the 4th International Research-to-Practice Conference Lighting Design – 2017, in St. Petersburg, Russia. The event, which will be on the theme “Identity”, will bring together over 500 participants and be held at the high-tech New Stage complex of the Alexandrinsky Theatre on October 12–13, 2017.

US West Coast tour

Lighting Designer Johan Moritz (IALD), at the city of Malmö,  is currently on a West Coast lecture tour in the US, making stops at Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles; a special lecture tour for architects, city planners, designers, urbanists and design enthusiasts, organised by IALD San Francisco, in conjunction with IALD Pacific Northwest and IALD Southern California.
