Testing Human Centric Lighting for Neonatal unit

2017-08-31

Our demonstration project for the County of Skåne (Region Skåne), which aims to develop Human Centric Lighting for the Neonatal unit at Helsingborg Hospital, has now gone into its test phase. This is currently taking place at the lighting lab at IKDC (Ingvar Kamprad Design Center), Faculty of Engineering, Lund University.

The purpose is to create a realistic environment where the project team can simulate and test dynamic lighting scenes, both with patients and staff in focus.

Eventually, the chosen solution will be re-implemented at the actual Neonatal unit, at the newly built Helsingborg Hospital. Below – a study visit at the construction site by lighting designers Åsa Moum, Moum Design AB & Moa Pauhlson, WSP.
