Greater Copenhagen is proud to announce the launch of a new international lighting event in the 2018 calendar.

The concept of 12 Days of Light is the collection of  lighting events in Copenhagen & Malmö, which kicks off with Lighting Day (‘Lysets Dag’) in Copenhagen on the 12th of September, and finishes with the urban lighting concept :byLIGHT in Malmö – with a lighting conference, living lab visits, and an academic conference in between.

12 Days of Light

Lighting Day, (‘Lysets Dag’) 12th
Lighting Day is a key date in the annual Danish industry calendar, and brings together everyone with professional interest in light. The day offers a conference with speakers from home and abroad, exhibition of new lighting technology and projects and networking.

Metropolis :byLIGHT, 13-23rd

Lighting Metropolis conference 13-14th & living lab visits, 12-14th
Presenting and sharing three years of work by all our partners to launch a world-leading living lab for innovative urban lighting, including guided tours to a selection of the lab’s demo projects.
Main organisers: City of Malmö, Gate 21 & Innovation Skåne

Academic conference, 13-14th
Our three University partners share and discuss their research and findings from Lighting Metropolis, plus invite leading academics in the field to present cutting edge knowledge. Call for papers will be announced soon.
